Senior Data Migration Specialist – Remote USA/ LATAM

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Migration Specialist to join our small migration team as we implement a suite of Salesforce products, including CPQ, Order Management, Product Catalog, Sales Funnel, CRM, and Service Cloud. This role will focus on migrating data from legacy systems such as Kenan, Siebel, Prism, and an older Salesforce instance into our new Salesforce org.
As a Senior Data Migration Specialist, you will play a key role in analysing complex datasets, finding patterns, identifying gaps in order to be able to perform extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data.
This is a hands-on role so you’ve got to be ready to roll up your sleeves and get deep in the weeds of analysing account, asset and contract information spread across multiple legacy systems.

Key Skills & Experience
● Proven experience in data migration, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
● Strong expertise in SQL, database management, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
● Experience working with Salesforce data models and migration tools (e.g., Data Loader, API-based migrations, MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend).
● Hands-on experience with legacy systems such as Kenan, Siebel, Prism, Salesforce or similar systems.
● Strong analytical skills to match, map, and transform complex datasets across different systems.
● Experience in scripting languages, primarily SQL but Python, Shell, or PowerShell is a plus.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and execute data migration strategies and processes for migrating accounts, assets (products), contracts, and other key datasets.
● Work with large and complex data structures, ensuring accurate mapping and transformation of data between legacy and new systems.
● Develop and optimize SQL queries, migration scripts, and ETL processes to facilitate seamless data migration.
● Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, Salesforce developers, and system architects, to understand data requirements and ensure smooth integration.
